Murder the peasants and spare the tyrant
Here we go again, acting more like children than children. Yet another unconscionable clown over the Pond tells us to leap and we certainly do. Once again, UK is on a war footing.
As parents, what do we tell our kids about scrapping in the school yard?
Use your brains – talk to find a way round your disagreement.
Political mess
Political mess
Yet what do we do the moment there's a chance to roll up our sleeves to show off muscle?
We don't have to look back very far to the political mess we found ourselves in after 2003. The clown over the waters might claim the present slaughter as a success.
I don't recall Blair back then saying much less after his horrific collusion with another demented leader.
What the blunder achieves
All this unthinking work will have achieved is to get the headlines away from the 'negotiations' for Brexit, just as this minority government achieved by stirring up the right-wing media and the unthinking over the poisoning of a Russian turncoat.
There's another very questionable side to right-wing reactions like this. In the playground scenario, if the bully's father enters the disagreement and strikes my child, I am hardly likely to kick his dustbins over and punch his gardener.
I'd go to the man's house and have it out with him, hopefully peacefully. Why is that seldom the way with politics? If they are really certain of the identity of the guilty party, why kill the workers and wreck the factories?
